Other ads than Google ads

Why should you use ads from different advertising networks?

The reason why many people choose to only use Google Ads on their websites is simply: Google is reliable, the system is simple to understand and all your money from ads will be collected in the same pile. And yes, there are the benefits, but if you want to make as much money as possible from your website, that's not what you should do.

The cons with playing all in one card are, if you get banned for any reason, ALL your income from your website will disappear.

What you should do is to simply exploit the benefits from different types of advertising networks.

Advertising can be purchased in different ways:

CPM, cost per thousand page impressions.
CPC, cost per click on the ad.
CPA, cost per action, a click that leads to an action like a purchase or a sign up.
CPV, cost per unique view, but can also mean cost per unique visitor.

As you might know, Google AdSense is based on CPC (CPM aswell, but mostly CPC). So if your website has low click-references, almost all your valuable page impressions will be lost. By having a CPM ad on your website, you can see all your visitors as revenue.

If your website is about any kind of product/service, you should definitely have a CPA ad to safe up buying visitors.

A problem might be that the minimum amount of visitors per month is very high for most of the major CPM networks. A small website like this one, does not meet their requirements. But there is a way for everyone. I am using a CPM network named "TrafficRevenue", they offer $0.88 for 1000 unique visitors and they do not really have any site requirements, not that I can find anyway.  You will receive all your payments through PayPal. Even though the network itself looks pretty unprofessional and some of the ads look a bit spammy , it is definitely  worth a go if you want to earn some passive money on your website. Just avoid the highly paid popup ads, they will ruin your reputation.

Remember to keep your website clean with not to many ads. You won't win anything by stuffing ads.
